Hi all,
Just back from Bansko (business/holiday). Have to say the resort is coming together, ski station, new apres bar next to station (rustic and huge and open on 31st Dec), Grand Hotel , plus new lifts, is the best setup I have ever seen (France/Austria/USA). Resort is still a bit untidy due to all the work going on, but in a year or two this place will be up there with the best (world). Now to the skiing, agreed only a couple of runs open and not really suitable for beginners, but for ...

When the whole place is open - which should happen in the next day or so it will be awesome.
One gripe, the new English bar 'The Lion' - I and the couple of idiot touts imported in from ' Luvvly Jubbly' Sunny Beach. I don't want English breakfasts and Carling I go to Bulgaria for 'vivre la difference' - they at least have some culture!

thanks for the report, im going to bansko in feb, do you think the resort will be abit tidy for then?? hv u been in feb sort of time, if so whats it like? thankstommy p
