Thank you Balkan Holidays!We had booked the Stratzite Hotel, as we had stayed there last year and liked it, but were bumped out because of double booking so we paid a little extra to get the Grand Arena.What a fantastic hotel
I would suggest if you can you should.From the porters meeting you on arrival till checkout,faultless.My wife who knows about these things says the spa is top class,she had seven treatments for the cost of two at home.The outdoor hot tub is a must.The staffed boot room with its heated racks was a joy.All of that and just fifty paces from the gondola....I could go on but you will think i'm on commission.

As for the town its self, not as bad as some were saying,yes it will be overcrowded if all the hotels and ap'ts that are being built are filled, but for now it still overs a nice place to eat and drink at night.Wherelse can four people have a meal with 3 bottles of wine and around of soft drinks,oh and a couple of whiskys for yours truly,for £9 per head!

The snow conditions were poor compared to last year but having seen what others have had to suffer I think we were quite lucky.

Well you wont be suprised to hear that we will be back next year........only 358 sleeps to go.

just back from Bansko too... stayed in Kempinski for second year running and think its unreal for the price you pay - i'd def recommend for anyone going to bansko.

Snow-wise - prob not as good as last year overall esp further down, although good further up you went and a great load of snow dumped on the Tuesday - my instructor reckons that it will prob be the best week of the whole season!

re gondola queues, get there early! def worse than last year.

overall tho i still had a great time
