Back from Bansko

Hi all
Got back last night. Gr8 week.

Flight was delayed by 1 hour on the out trip Booze.

We stayed at the hotel Lion what a fab hotel good food good staff beer was on the higher side of pricing but we just drank elsewhere. the only down side to the hotel where the british teenagers just wanted to cause trouble or break things.

There were no queues for the gondala except for the last day but the european down hill championships were on.
The snow conditions where not the best as they had had no good snowfall for around 6 weeks. Conditions were great at the top but patchy from the mid station down. The first thre days were clear blue skys and temretures at the bottom of the mountain were 20 degrees plus, people sunbathing outside the Keplinski.
The tempreures stayed warm all week and by Thursday the high station was like a mudbath. The ski road stayed open all week but it was to warm for the snow cannons.
All in all it was a gr8 week but its colder down here in Cornwall.
Any just ask.

Hi Phil, what sort of times were you going to the gondola at? Heading out on Thurs for 3 days (preying for snow)and don't want to spend all morning in a qeue.
