Back from Boro

wow what a week!

It was eventful.

Stayed at the Rila which was good.
Wife got food poisoning, not good, though the Dr in Rila was excellent! Loads of people in the ski groups went down with food posining, so watch what you munch.
Got wiped out by a boarder on my 3rd day, twisted my knee and so couldn't ski for the rest of the week.

Without drivelling on, I had a great time and would go back, the snow was good as was the instructors.

Another tip, the ski gear is dirt cheap, I bought a pair of Salomon boots for about the equivalent of £80!

Watch out for the snowboarder's wrath as the slopes were very busy!

Are goggles and gloves also cheaper than the UK? We haven't bought any yet as we were waiting to buy out there.

Yep, definitely - we bought gloves, hats and glasses there last year and they were much cheaper than at home.
