Back from Boro

Here goes with the report which I am sure will not be to the liking of all but tough
First of all must say the hols were helped by the fact that we had excellent snow meaning that most of the mountain was open and the skiing was great. One point here is that if you are used to ski areas which have 100,s of kilometeres of runs and are looking for a ski holiday for total skiing borovets is possibly not for you and if you look at the piste length you should have seen this. One point here is that if you are used to ski areas which have 100,s of kilometeres of runs and are looking for a ski holiday for total skiing borovets is possibly not for you and if you look at the piste length you should have seen this. With what was open there was more than enough for begginers and intrmediates who like to combine skiing with good night life.
Prices are still cheap if you look around and you could still buy a good steak for around £10 and beer for £1.20.
For a good deal for food on the mountain go and see Kas ,Bobby and George at the white house as the food is excellent with good prices. Also the more of us that use it will mean that the others will have to come in line and also I like to see Kas get stressed when its busy.SERIOUSLY its a good place to eat.
We stayed at the hotel Ela which was clean and tidy with polite staff and the prices were OK. The food in the restaurant was nothing special but up to the standard of all the other hotels and if you were on a limited budget you would not starve eating there.
For private tuition I would still recommend Christo from the White magic as we used to enjoy drinking in there and met many people who he was teaching who said he was good. Also the food in there is very good.
So finally a big thank you to Kas & Bobby / Christo & Janet and all the gang we met and skiid with as they made the holiday very enjoyable and I hope we can do it again some time.
As i have said above go with an open mind and I am sure you will have a good time.
Also cheers to SP for another great holiday and look forward to seeing you in three weeks in Canada

re: Back from Boro

Hi Manc Tom
Great week and enjoyed you and your good ladys company along with all the others. Good meal on friday made up by the good company.
Two evelasting memories are of Jane shouting Yeehaaa as she set of down the last part of Yastebeets and Kelly after skiing full whole at the top and then turning to me and saying she thought the others were still in front when I knew the only one who would have been in front at that pace was Bodie Miller. Sure enough the others were still back up ...

Thanks again to you all for making an enjoyable holiday.
Also a little hint to Kas. Next time you make a cup of tea make sure the cup is in your hand before pouring the boiling water.
