Hi all,
Pamps was so much better this yr than last! It snowed all day monday as my prev post whilst i was there informed you. Starting to get a bit icy by saturday though so could do with a nice new dump of snow soon, although all runs still skiable.
Prices on avg have doubled but there is a little mini market along from Alaska on the left which slls 2l Kamenitza for 2.90lv bargain! That's if you don't mind drinking in your room as a start before going out! Avg prices 4-5lv for ...

On the slopes... the brothers restaurant at quarter point charge 4lv for 500ml water but do a lovely garlic bread for 6lv. Mid station prices vary from 3-4lv water and upwards for beer, food ranges from 5lv for soup up to 16 lv for pizza. At the bottom things are relatively the same price as last yr, water 2lv, jacket potatoes with any filling only 7 lv (were 6 last year and still tasted beautiful).
Still only spent £80 this yr (i'm not a big drinker!).
Overall a brilliant week, last year i had never skiid and due to lack of snow only got half way down the green. This year our instructor, Petya, had me confidently skiing reds so i'm happy!

Hi RachGood to hear you got back safe. We had a bit of hassle had to get transferred to sofia rather than plovdiv so quite a bit extra on journey. Good to hear you built loads of confidence over the week just a pity you didnt stay in our group we had a right laugh too. Got caught a beauty by the video man coming over then chicken jump and landing flat on my ass.
