Back to Bansko!

We had booked a weeks skiing in Sestriere Italy (where the 2006 winter olympics was held) for xmas a few months ago, but...our love and loyalty for bansko was just too strong, so we have booked another weeks skiing for the end of January!! I'm not sure if it is the fact that I get two weeks skiing this winter or the fact that i'm going back to my beloved bansko again that has made me so happy.
Bansko, i'm coming home!!

Hi there,
Hope you can help me , I am going to Bansko for a week over Christmas this year is it possible to hire ski clothes there ? I have hired all of the equipment and booked lessons but I can't seem to locate any ski wear hire.
Thank you,

re: Back to Bansko!

I wouldn't bother hiring, you won't save much money, you can buy out there, really good jackets from about £25 - £50. Or try TK Max, good ski gear at cheap prices, or look out for the ski wear in Lidl, they have really cheap stuff but its only for sale for one week, and will advertise in the paper quite soon I should think.

Also keep your eyes open for ALDI skiwear. Very reasonable but it goes quick! Got fab ski glasses for £4.99 100% uv etc.last year and my neice got a 2 piece ski suit for under £50, ladies size 10.

Try Decathlon megastore too if you have one near you, well worth the trip

re: Back to Bansko!

I got my first ski outfit from Aldi and my 2nd from Makro for under £50. Makro ski outfits are really good quality.

Hornster - I'm heading to Bansko at the end of Jan too, look out for the little snowboarder spending more time on her bum than feet and that'll be me Very Happy
