Come on guys. I can read it in my paper, I can see it every hour on my TV.Do I REALLY need to come on here to read all about the latest terror attacks around the world
Lighten up........ and realise that this is a fun board to talk about SKIING, and BOARDING, and exchange the occasional joke, not the latest world news update that bombards us with doom and gloom every time we turn on the radio or TV!!!!!!

Pete at the moment with events as they are and with some of the people who use this site working in London I think it is only human nature to want to talk about such things.
It is only because it is such a major news event that we are talking about it. It would be I think impossible not to mention such things. Also at this time of year the forum is more like a personal chat room for us regulars and not a ski site. As you know that will change with the coming season and so I am sure will ...

Also at this time of year the forum is more like a personal chat room for us regulars and not a ski site. In the meantime I will continue to post stupid jokes and such as I am sure will the others in an attempt to lighten things up a bit. But also I will still want to talk about current events with my fellow regulars on here.

Can't see a problem myself as the regular postings are keeping the board going throughout the summer. This time last year we were lucky to get 2 or 3 postings a month out of season!!I look on here nearly everyday in the knowledge that "mates" are doing the same thing.
