Having used the board for lots of valuable info on our last 4 trips to Pamporovo, it would be helpful if someone could answer the following; We have now bought our own ski boots, and am wondering if we have to pay the additional 'ski carriage' allowance, or if they can be carried in the ski boot bags, and checked in the hold as part of the standard 20kg allowance?

re:

You can check as many bags as you like (within reason) into the hold as part of your 20kg with most companies. The problem only comes with outsized luggage such as skis Razz hop3 this helps Confused only 162 sleeps Exclamation Exclamation

re:

they can be checked in as part of you hold lug, make sure you have 20kg last year thomsons was only giving 15kg for hold lug on ski trips and this was stated in the ticket booklet you get.

Have you paid for ski carriage? boots usually come in you lug allowance but you pay extra for ski carriage normally about £15. try and check with the airline. if you booked on line was you given the option?
