Went to Pamps from East Midlands on 5th Feb aboard a Balkan Holiday plane. Absolutely no problems - ok, they are a little less modern than a brand new airbus, but there was plenty of leg room and the landing in Plovdiv was the smoothest one we have had for ages! We thought that the landing back at EMA was not as good until we got off the plane and were nearly knocked sideways by gale force winds - more praise for the crew (who were all female!) - don't worry so much - I really don't think the pilots would get on a plane that they thought was unsafe or unairworthy. The food is not fab, but we took our own - staff were very friendly and the flight was fine.
Look at Concorde - the best flight that money could buy and if you were on that plane your number was up - just because the planes are old doesn't mean that they are unsafe - Enjoy your holidays!!!!!
