Balkan Baggage Allowance

Does anyone know if there are extra charges for taking your own boots as well as ski's? I have paid the extra £17 carriage but wondered if Balkan Holidays would charge me extra for the boots on top of my luggage.

they have never charged me, if your bag/s weigh over they may charge, in my experience Balkan are pretty good with excess baggage have flown with them loads and always go over my allowance on only one occasion have they charged me.

I take my boots separate every time.

your boots count as part of your allowance. . .also you are now not allowed to take them on as hand luggage. . .cant take em in cabin cos they classed as a aerious weapon !!!!!! Sad

Pack your boots in your bag if you can. We put them through separate last year and they took forever to appear at the other end. This year we're using bigger holdalls and putting averything in two bags

Thanks!

Did think about trying to pack them but not sure there will be enough room, plus I wondered if the weight of the boots is included with the extra ski carriage costs.

I usually do take them in a boot bag and haven't had any issues with Crystal or Inghams, wasn't sure if Balkan would be different.
