Hi. I'm heading out to Bansko from Manchester on 24th December & have just been notified by Balkan Holidays that our flights have been changed. We've been moved from a charter flight to a scheduled flight later in the afternoon on Bulgaria Air . Apart from getting into the resort a little later in the afternoon, I thought that this might actually be a good thing but I wondered if anyone else on the board had experience of flying with Bulgaria Air. Also, has anyone else had their flights ...
Hi. I'm heading out to Bansko from Manchester on 24th December & have just been notified by Balkan Holidays that our flights have been changed. We've been moved from a charter flight to a scheduled flight later in the afternoon on Bulgaria Air . Apart from getting into the resort a little later in the afternoon, I thought that this might actually be a good thing but I wondered if anyone else on the board had experience of flying with Bulgaria Air. Also, has anyone else had their flights from Manchester changed by Balkan Holidays?

I've travelled several times from Manchester to Sofia on Bulgaria Air and they're spacious, comfortable and very punctual...never ended up flying with them as a consequence of a charter flight change though.

Flew bulgaria air this year and booked again for feb next year good flights no delays we are going out on thurs 22 feb and returning on sun 4 mar (sun better flight times).We hope you enjoy bulgaria we did !re: Balkan Holidays Manchester Flight Change
Balkan ALWAYS change their flights - it's all part of the excitement!!!! You never know until the week before you travel exactly when the flight will leave! It will probably changeon your way back as well. Best bet is just to be flexible. Having said all this we've travelled with them 5 times now, so they can't be all that bad
