Balkan holidays

What ski school do they use in borovets , going for the first time in Jan .

Hi Craig,

Welcome to the board !
If you have booked with Balkan then they usually use Borosport.
Where are you staying and what dates are you out?
Load of us out at the end on Jan on the 28th.
Just post on the board any queries you hay have, there are loads of people on here, who are happy to share info .

We have booked with Balkan in the past and they have used Samokov ski school when staying there so all depends what hotel you book I think

Correct .pretty much irrelevant which ski school you will end up with.
Go for convenience (ski hire in the hotel you are staying for example if staying in Rila, Samokov, Mura or Ela)
If you want to venture extra hrs outside your lessons just book on the spot or just talk with your ski instructor . He/she will be more than happy to earn something on the side.

Have to agree with the mighty M, if u would like extra tuition outside of normal ski school most instructors will be more than happy to assist and are open to negotiation, and must add did it last year for our daughter and it was worth every penny to see her confidence soar

I am said daughter of N&J and my package was booked through Balkan and we stayed at the samokov. I was a first time skier and the set up there was great. instructors were lovely. last season was really busy and the groups were big so i had one private lesson and i think it helped alot!!!

Hi Becky,

Did you not go at the same time as Boon, or did you meet up at the UK meeting?

N&J are out in Jan next season, so hope to meet at Bobby's, missed them last season, but they did meet S.P. and D, But in Feb for Kas's birthday.
