Bankso - arrived and in town!

Well - we're here, skied today in just about oK conditions (lots of patches and rock coming through). The snow road is open if not icy - but what the hell - 5 hours ski-ing done and just had a fab sauna!
Our smooth jurney from Gatwick to Bansko was a blast compared to the chaos that was the rented ski / boot allocation. We missed 2 hrs of ski-school cos it was not organised well.
However, good recovery by ski instructor who carried us thru lunch so we had a decent 1st day craic ...

Very warm and without more snow its difficult to see how the pistes (and there's few closed) can really offer decent time.
Any road up, we're here, hotel good (Perun) and we're ski-ing. Off for beers with Ali and Mel in bar!
