Bankso advice

Hi,
My friend and I are going to Bankso for the first time and we were wandering if it's better to take Lev or Euro? Also is it better to hire snowboards/get lift pass when ur out there or buy online first? Any other advice?
Cheers Very Happy

re: Bankso advice

Luke, the questions you have asked get asked 100's of times every year and the answers are always the same.

Take some levs and the rest in Sterling as the exchange rate will be better. Ensure all Sterling notes are not written on and no rips otherwise they will be hard to exchange.

If you have booked through an agent get all your gear and passes through them as it will work out much cheaper.

re: Bankso advice

Shouldnt matter as they are directly linked (unlike sterling) Rate i believe is better in the big hotel bureaus. Dont be tempted to exchange on the streets/slopes nomatter how good the rate Exclamation Lift pass is definately cheaper with your travel agent but dunno about hiring Razz have a fantastic time Razz Booze

re: Bankso advice

if you have a cash card use the atms at banks. Nationwide do not charge for his at all and you get the best exchange rate.

I dont know what prebooked rental and lifts cost, but a lift pass here is roughy 50 leva a day ( a bit cheper for longer) and you can rent ski boots and sticks for 20 leva a day
