Bankso or Pamporovo

I have never been to either, which overall would you recommend?

pamporovo for atmosphere and nighlife. bansko for skiing and snow. it just depends what you want out of your hols.

if you skied before try bansko . if not pamporovo is the way to go it is so easy to navigate yourself around the slopes as the place isn't big.

As Charlie says, it depends what you want. I have been twice in Bansko, but never in Pamporovo. In my opinion Bansko is suitable for the beginning skier too, the ski way down to the gondola station is perfect.

Although it is becoming crowded in Bansko, it is still an authentic village and Papmporovo has been built as a resort.

I would recommend Bansko, but reading the comments and reports on this board, Pamporovo would not be a bad choice at all.

Thanks for your replies. I have not been skiing before but wanted somewhere for the nighlife too.
