Bansko's invisible red run...

hi there!

I was out in Bansko last september/october time. when I was looking around the ski runs I noticed on the large balkan holidays diagram of the ski runs, that there was a long red run off to the right of the main area and it was serviced by a four man chair lift.

now on all the ski run diagrams for this year it seems to have disappeared!

does anyone have any information on this??

na i tink it was closed due to an avalanche risk or sumtink!

Depressingly they built the run for last season only to discover there was an avalanche risk (someone somewhere deserves a good kicking). It hasn't opened this season either but they are in the process of building avalanche barriers above it (again, why has this process taken a year and a half?)
