Last season a long red run was shown on the piste map at the far right, you can see it here:

When we went March 2004 it wasn't open (at least the lift wasn't running up it). Now it's missing from the official site's piste map.
Could anyone explain what has happened? Has anyone actually been down it? I'm heading back to the resort ...

This has been closed for some time due to an avalanche risk (you would have thought they would have known this before they laid the piste.)I was there over Xmas, talk is that the run is being made safe at present, with snow support structures being put in place (you see these in France etc.). Once complete (not sure when) the run will reopen.
