Bansko(Lift station-otels & the queue)

Hi guys.
i just wanna go somewhere in bulgaria for this winter holiday. i inquire about mountains and i think bansko is the best choice for me and to have a great snowboard time.
apparently it looks like the slopes and pistes are better than the mountains in turkey that i visited. I mean how long it takes to come back from the peak to the place that lifts begin by snowboarding approximately? (it takes JUST 1 MIN in turkey at the longest pist javascript:addSmile('%20Sad'))

But im still worried about something. The tours in turkey usually recommend 'the Bansko Hotel Spa and Holidays'. according the information it takes 15 minutes to go the lift station from the hotel by walking! Isn't that so long and a problem? I just wanna ask the people who went there. do you guys think that its problem?
And about the queues. I'll go between 23-29 jan. well, shall the queues be so long? cause i heard that people come so much from greece for daily. you know if its normal, dont think bout itSmile

Thank youu so muchh guys.
greatss

Try to get to the gondola before 9am and the queues shouldn't be to bad. After then and you can expect some pretty long queues - so it's rise and shine, be there before 9 Razz

Aye hotel bansko is about 10 mins walk to the gondola, but every hotel put on very regular busses to and from the gondola. Hotel bansko is a very nice hotel. Depending on how good you are it would probably take 10-15 mins to board down to the top gondola station, and the ski road back to town from there is about 8-10 km. There is a good variety of ski runs all of different lengths

Stayed at the Hotel with my Wife 2 years ago...very nice. Friendly staff...food very nice...help yourself buffet style as well which is nice as you can try different dishes.

The Hotel run a small mini bus every 30 minutes if I remember...so easy to use. They start quite early but run on to later in the day if you fancy a lie in bed if you have had too many.... Booze Booze Booze
