2. Has anyone used the wi-fi access (with your own laptop) in the Kempinski which I believe is charged at 5 euro per hour or 8 euro per 2 hours? How do they administer this?
3. Is there a shop in the Kempinski for soft drinks/snacks etc for chomping on in the rooms?
4. Excluding 'drinking' money, how much would you say it costs per person per day for a snack lunch on the hill and a decent night time meal?
5. Has the mythical funpark been built yet?
6. What's the general level of the snowboarders in the resort? Good/bad/excellent/gods?
The Kempinski is a true five star hotel.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world (not including the 7*s in Dubai mind), it is likely to be the best hotel you have ever stayed in. Unless you are a highroller, this is a completely different league to accomodation in ski resorts in Western Europe.
Although we have stayed in a few nice 5* hotels in the US and Canada... one of the nicest being the Alyeska Prince in Girdwood Alaska - nice hotel and nice resort
Good day to the both of you,
On the fun park, I was there last week and there seems to be massive pilies of snow pushed to one side to make jumps, I already started using them. No rails though maybe next year. There are some good boarders there, but mainly skiers, eg bulgarian freeride team. Food on the hill will cost around 7-10 Lv per person and at night around 20Lv per person. For a good night club try Oxygen, nr the town square. never satyed at the Kempinski but always looks nice, defo ...
