Hi,
If the queues are hugh at Bansko what other method is there of getting up the hill to the lifts, we are family of 4... any costs / methods private or with other people
WHen the queues are bad they run shuttle busses to queue bust but given there are 10 I think and the time it takes to drive up the mountain road, its not hugely effective - but it's the operator making an effort in response to a well known issue.
Contact Steve C or Nightmuffy on this board - they do a private shuttle service up the mountain.
Other than that, a local yellow taxi - but agree the price up front!!!
We are already booked for the half term, from last season... Taxis will run but will only take 3 with skis (though you might convince one to squeeze 4, expect to pay 50-60lv)..
The two weeks from the 9th could be considered half term, as the break is split.. also take into account it is school holidays in Europe as well, so expect it to be busy
Best advice is to get up to the gondola in good time or risk long queues. We hire a car so if late can drive up. Ruins the journey home though as no stop off at the wigwam !
