Bansko - Hire & Passes

Hi. Info required. We are a group of 15 off to Bansko on 12th Feb. I have booked flights, transfers, hotels, taxis, hot water bottles, . . . . everything but hire of boards and lift passes. What is the best/cheapest way of getting these. I must stress - this is independantly booked, so we do not have the option of an add-on to a package! Do we have a choice of who hire stuff from when we get to Bansko, or does just one company deal with all hire/passes. Any names/contacts/tips/scams will be ...

theres a few hire shops, so u wont hav a prob, make sure u pick the one nearest to the gondalora it has al the new hire. how old are you lot?

im 16 and going for a week at the same time!

Hi Tom, thanks for info. I'm thirtytwelveandaharf. My son Joe 15 and his mate Jon 16 are also going though. You'll more than likely meet them in the night clubs. Snow's looking good eh?

yea its looking better than it was, but i wud really like it to get better as i like to go off pieste. are any of ur party advanced skiiers?

lots of snow to come on sat so shud be even better, ill be happy wen the snow level reaches 180 cm!!

With your lift passes, they wont tell you but the price includes a 6 Leva deposit that is refundable at the end of the day!.. Not a lot, but 6 leva out there will buy a meal, so dont miss it!

I had heard that if a local buys your pass, its half price, but my bro tried this last week n no locals were arund to help, but if you know any ask, cos itl save a lot!

I was there this week on biz, skied only for a day, but was v good. snow up the top ecxellent, and run (10k) open to the ...

be warned if a local buys your pass and you get checked it will be taken off you.They check bulgarian passes regularly, the computer screen has a picture on it and the name of the person purchasing the pass
is it really worth it
to a local it is half price but there wages are sigifinantly less than half yours!!!!!
