Bansko - lift pass & ski hire & lessons

Hi were going out Apr 5th as a group of 4 for a weeks first time skiing. We have sorted out flights, accomodation (staying in our own apartment) and sofia to Bansko return tfr.

The next issue is sorting out the Ski Lift pass , ski equipment hire & ski lessons.
Can someone please provide a link to the prices? Can these be bought in advance online? Is it better to buy daily passes over the 6 day pass?

Any info appreciated.

thanks

you can get them all at/near the gondola station, with some offering 20% off. make sure you go first thing (08.30) as the ques are awful. make sure you take plenty of spending money as it is quite pricey (they do try and rip you off in places).

Do you ski at all? I would wait until you get there and see what the snow is like before buying passes ect...

If you have booked with an operator you may still have time to add to your booking. Even only the lift pass as it is much cheaper than the local prices

6 Days ski pass was around 280 lev last week, we got ours on the Monday morning around 9:30 and no que at all. The day pass was something like 50lev so unless you are going to ski everyday then it is not worth buying the 6 day. As already said you can get it all (pass and equipment) at the gondola with a discount and I think you'll find this the cheapest. Saw one place doing ski's, boot's and poles for less than 100lev (I think), can't help you on lessons though.

Not sure what the ...

Not sure what the comment is about getting ripped off, depending on what you are going for, we ate out at the Mahana's down Pirin Street and deeper into the old town and struggled to get a two course meal with drinks above £7.50 a head. Don't think that is too expensive really.

Enjoy and hope the snow holds out Very Happy Booze
