Bansko - ski event?

Bansko - ski event?

Just had a look at the Banskoksi.com webcams and they have built soemthing that looks like a massive viewing deck at the bottom of the black run. Does anyone know what and when this ski event is suppose to take place?
Please don't let it be for the whole of next week!

Hornster, where have you been the last few days?!!!!!
PP put something on here a few days ago about it - some competition next week the Balkan Cup I think - that's why everyone's been chucked out of the Strazhite.

Those cancelled were the 2 events at Pamoporovo and Chepelare - as far as I know next weeks 2 day event at Bansko still goes ahead.

Hornster,

I went to bansko this time lkast yr and there was some kids slalom event taking up the black run for most of me hols, but ive checked the events calander and there is nothing there for next week

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping that it won't be off limits to us tourists for the whole of next week cause I like that run.

We're just back from Bansko and there's posters up for the Europa Woman's Slalom Championships. It starts on 27th Jan and I think it only runs until about the 31st but not totally sure of those dates.
