Bansko - where to go, who to see?

Bansko - where to go, who to see?

Off to Bansko on the 22nd, just wondering where we should be heading to hire equipment and book private lessons? Are the hire shops at the bottom of the gondola, in the town or up on the slopes?

Most hire shops around gondola, most will organise instruction as well...
Try to barter a bit if you are not happy with price, especially if you are a large group...

i aways use banskoski which is situated below the car park for the Gondola. Good price and good instructors.

Don't pay anymore than 20 lev per day for ski and boot hire.

Call in with Georg at Banskoskimania, just opposite the Happy End bar beside the ski lift station. He is great for rentals and lessons-dead easy going as well, nice guy.

Not sure on prices very reasonable according to my mate i had my own skis and boots and george let me leave them in his shop for nothing i just tipped him at the end there is an ice rink not far from gondola dont know how long it is open would have thought until season ends.
