Can anyone tell me if i will need a photo for the liftpass in bansko? The company i booked with told me i did need one (profi-tours), but a different company told me i didn't(crystal brochure). So can anyone please advise.
When you pay for your lift pass they take a pic of you then but this may not be the case if you are not going to be at the lift station, so i would say take one with you as it may save you time.
Also been to Bansko for the last 2 years, but have had a photo taken each time. They do this with a webcam type thing when you pay for your pass. Not sure how you got away without it...
If you are on a package tour you usually get a lift pass without a photo. If you buy your lift pass over there they take a photo at the kiosk. This looks crap on the pass but it comes up good on the monitors that are in the lift stations.
Last year I queued for over an hour for the lift passes for me and my family and couldn't buy them without them being present so I had to go and get the family and queue up again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
we had photos taken last year at the kiosk, dont know why as the card is the chip and pin type and can be read while still in your pocket, never have to show it to anyone, If you have been told to take one I would just in case you do need it better than having to try and get one done there.
i have been to bansko twice and each time they have taken my picture with a special camr when purtuasing the passes so unless that has changed you will not need a photo!
