Bansko 09-18th Feb - Chalet Montagne

So having read some of the threads here, it sounds like there are going to be a few groups out in Bansko over the week of 9-18th Feb. My group of 8 are staying in a couple of the apartments in Chalet Montagne. It's our first trip to Bulgaria so up for meeting some more people while we're out there. Always good to meet some more boarders Very Happy

Anyway, feel free to post on here if you're going to be out there around the same time and perhaps we can all grab a drink or two, not to mention the ...

Counting the days.......

We're a family of 5 staying in the Mont Blanc Appts, fly out on 10th to 17th.We have been to Bansko once before and liked it. Lots of places to eat and the town is pretty. There are lots of small shops for provisions too although don't expect too many brand names! Last time we stayed in a hotel on half board but this time wanted to try out the local food more. It's cheap to eat. The hotels have cashpoint machines so no need to change too much money at once, you can just draw it out as you ...

We only booked ski hire here, the accomodation and transfers seperately but all seems to have gone well and I have phone numbers just in case! It's the first time I haven't gone with a package deal so I am slightly worried that I've remembered everything!
Might see you on the slopes - small lady with bright red ski boots!

Chalet Montagne is the large development just a few yards down the road from Mont Blanc apartments. Both are really good developments and are in one of the best positions in Bansko...i.e less than a five minute walk from the Gondola and about the same into the old town.Sir Galahad's is about 10 metres up the road from Chalet Montagne...great food and drinks there.

Hi Little Al,

My colleague at work has just invested in one of the Chalet Montagne apartments and so I'm gonna be his first customer. It's the first time I've arranged a trip away, and I decided to do the whole thing individually instead of a package deal and it's worked out well in terms of cost so far - Just hope that I haven't forgotten anything too Very Happy.

Thanks for the information, that's really useful to know and great to hear it from someone who has been before. Maybe I'll see ...
