Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Bansko 1st Week March

There is a public holiday in Bulgaria on the 3rd and 4th March. I am concerned that Bansko is likely to be very busy with long queues at the Gondala. Has anyone been at this time of year and have any advice.

Well we're going out 27/2 so will be there for it.

We've done all different times of the season (excl Dec and Jan). At worst it was Feb half term but we would be in the queue from 8:15am and it would be roughly half way down the happy end sort of distance. But none the less we were at the base station between 8:50-9:10am and most times before 9am.

Friends of ours there st similar dates too but hey would arrive at 10am and literally walk into the lift pod
