Hi - I'm looking to book a week's skiing for two families commencing 9th Feb 2013 and this year I'm going to try and book the various components separately. Anyway, I'm having a particular job finding self catering apartments or hotels with suitable family rooms (Two times: 2 adults, 2 children 15 and under). Has anyone got any tips or reference points, particularly for self catering apartments not too far from the Gondola station?

With regards to the FIS - it will be at the weekends for 2 weekends back to back.However what that means is you will not be able to use those runs during the week + before the event as they will be praparing to stage the whole event.

Try booking.com. I can recommend Winslow highland, have been there the past 3 years close to the slopes 2 min walk or you can sky down the ski road as there is a path opposite. It has sauna/steam roon/ swimmingpool /gym etc but for an extra cost of 6 euro each per day. I have used their 2 bed apartments and 1 bed apartment only dissadvantage is there is no lift but for a week for 5 of us has been between £200 - £250 for a week. Apartments are clean and basic maybe a bit short on ...
