Bansko 21 March

hi All! I am planning to head out to Bansko for a week from the 21 march and just wondering if the snow is looking good to last and will the lifts be open? Anyone with any experience of going this late in the season? Many thanks!!

usually its the best time but with any late season skiing its a bit risky and you get a few great hours late morning after the pistes have softened and before the melt starts. Don't expect much powder but last year we have the best snow of the winter at just this time. I'll be there then for sure

Mat what date do you arrive in Bansko? I will be there from 13th until 22nd March, will buy you a beer if you are about. Booze

heh heh - I'll be down before 12th and after 22nd as the apartment I have there is rented out for the period 12-22nd.... Given the weather forecast I think I'll head up to Austria.
