I am due in Bansko on 24th March, just looked at the weather forecast for next week - looks really warm for the whole week somedays may reach 20C - do you think the middle mountain slopes 1600m upwards will still be skiable the following week?

Dunno where the forecast is from, our local one is giving snow. A few weeks of 20 degrees plus may effect the snow, it is spring, but i would not worry to much, we still have a bit of snow

thanks for the response - Accuweather is saying from the 17-03 onwards for about a week there were going to very high temps reaching 20C until around 23-3 when they are predicting lower temps. I was just worried that with that amount of high temps whether the snow depth is still good enough for there to be reasonable snow cover. Different places seem to be giving different snow depths, one site suggesting 255cm top and 210cm lower another is suggesting 175cm higher and 90cm lower. Hence why ...
