Bansko 25th Feb

Hi fellow skiers...

I'm searching for deals to Bansko on 25th feb for a week and really struggling to find anything decent below the £300 mark. Does anybody have any knowldge that will assist?

i take it by official vacation you mean the slopes will be packed to the brim ?

No I was there for that week last year. The only problem you may have is on the Friday as there is a big local holiday called Independence Day. Last year the slopes were very crowded for our last day which was a pity but for the rest of the week it was great.

Cool, thanks, knowing that i'll make thursday my 'go all out and not care if i break my legs' day is there a large celebration anywhere for independence day? that would be pretty cool.

It was more a case of finding somewhere to eat that wasn't fully booked.

In fact if you find a restaurant you particularly like and want to go there for your last night it may be worthwhile trying to book it earlier in the week. We went out for a few drinks on the Friday and the spent some considerable time trying to find anywhere that had a free table and there were only 2 of us.

Cheers for the tip Am there solely for the boarding and a bit of beutiful scenery really but will take your advice and book for the last night.
