Bansko 29th Jan

Any one else going on Sunday 29 Jan from Manchester to Bansko? Hotel Strazhite, hope they'll still have some decent hire ski's on the Sunday but hoping for empty slopes on the Saturday before we return.

It's our 4th time in BG, but the 1st to Bansko, always been to Borovets before. 8 of us, 4 reasonable skiiers, 2 new starters, and 2 teenage boys that are giving up skiing and going over to the dark side and tieing their feet to a single plank. weird eh?

we're travelling same day from manchester staying in strazhite. been to bansko 4 times before. two over 40 year olds who can ski but not prettily, one teenager who is a good skier and one beginner. it's toms 18th on the 4th feb. so you are all invited to the party !!!!

Will do, although if you do a search on here many have had good comments to make before, but the other thing I've picked up on here is that it is close to the gondola and Happy End.

we've stayed at the strazhite before and it's good. quick walk to the gondola lift (saves fighting those eastern europeans onto the bus!!) near to the english bar and several others. 5minutes into town. you've made a good choice
