I have noticed that the News section of Bulgaria Ski site refers to an airport to be built near Gotse Delchev. I heard a similar rumour two years ago but nothing materialized. Does anyone know if this is old info., a new rumour, or is there any truth in the article?re: Bansko Airport

Actually it is going to happen, just to piss you doubters off
There will be a shuttle service via a high speed link (280km +) from the airport to the base of the gondola, where you will be greeted by scantily clad ladies (and muscle bound lads for the girls, and fellas if you like ??)... you will be ushered onto the gondola while your skis are placed on your feet..... 7 mins and 29secs average door to door..... is that f**king fast enough for ya ...

Sorry for nature of post, i have just driven up from the valley in the worst conditions i have seen for a few years, errrr, by the way, its snowing............
