Bansko Building Site?

Bansko Building Site?

I have read reports that Bansko is a building site from Jan 2009.

Can anyone say what the situation is now please?

Any dates to avoid in January? Very Happy

Building is banned in Bansko from the beginning of the ski season and for most construction from mid November due to low temperatures. Actually, the town looks surprisingly good - a lot of the construction is finished and infrastructure and pavements are being put in place. Of course there are plenty of unfinished blocks, but its not as in your face as it was
