Bansko Busy in March ??

About to book the flights for bansko - in March this time (last 2 years have been late Jan / early Feb...

Last year although I avoided UK half term - I hit the Romanian / Russiam equivalent and it was crazy busy....

Question: Is there any reason for a really busy spell around 9-13 March? From other posts I've gathered there's still plenty of snow in March an hopefully things have quietened down a bit.

We live in Borovets, not Bansko, but I'd wait for Steve C / Nightmuffy to come along. They live in Bansko and will be able to let you know if there is anything happening in the resort around that time.

We are going 9-13th also. Chose these dates because on past experience early March is the best time. Still lots of snow and very quiet slopes. You have made a good choice.

Should be no probs at this time with queues etc.

And is usually one of the best times for skiing. Snow is still usually good and longer warmer days.

March is always mega , going on last 5 years .

I personally think it should be reserved for apartment owners only

So we can have our hill to our sleves

Im all packed and heading over this weekend for a weeks business trip / fun and catch up with old friends and bulgarian associates zargorak here i come
