re: Bansko Dvd

I am thinking of visiting Bansko to ski in Feb 07 could you recommend a good hotel/apt, ther will be 2 adults and 1 child.
Also is it better to arrange a package holiday or book everything seperately.
Regards

If you are travelling at half term maybe it's cheaper to book independently. Flights from Heathrow with BA are from £ 135. I can recommend the Mont Blanc apartments which you can book through this site. If you are looking for something upmarket then Tamplier or Belle Vue apartments are pretty swish. Best hotel in Bansko is the Kempinski Grand Arena

Loads of bargains at present if you book a package! Strazhite hotel in ideal spot - near to town and gondola.

BOOK SEPERATLY

people we say "but then the lift pass is more expensive." yes it is (about £20) but last year we saved £300 booking independently.

I'd have to recommend the Hotel Avalon. it's near town, owned by a British Bloke (James) who knows everyone (well it seems like it). He sorted out the transfers and ski hire for us, he makes a brilliant curry too. The hotel has a sauna and free wifi (if you can't get away from work)

Hope this helps
