sorry, as of just recently no snowboarding allowed in Bulgaria, they have recently adopted the 'Alta' policy.... I think its part of their long term development strategy.
you can't predict the conditions... it's been 10 degrees plus over Christmas which should be one of the colder times of the year! Bansko have got snow cannons all over the place so even with lack of snow, as long as the temperatures are low enough they got artificial snow to keep the slopes open. Even after the 'hot' Christmas period, the snow cannons used before and probably during if it got cold enough, allowed for every run to be open at the moment according to Bansko's website!
Every run is open. Usually the cinditions at this time are very good. The temps can be warm but they can also be very cold. There were days on the mountain last year where temps with the wind chill were around -40 on the top.
Not always the case though cold nights but warmer in the day. We have have temps -10 at night over the last week but during the day yes 10degrees in town but colder just above freezing on the mountain.
