Bansko Green Run

Had a knee op 6 weeks ago but still aiming to ski in Bansko this weekend. Thought I would try the knee out on the run from the top gondola station down to the Kempinski. Does anyone know if there is enough snow to ski down this route and is it fairly smooth?

My advice is to wear a kneebrace! Just to be safe..
I ski allready 4 years with that thing, after a ski-accident, and its my best friend on the slopes Razz

I'd say if you are fairly competent and can control your speed, the ski road is ideal. A few steeper bits, but nothing you cann't just go straight down. My only concern would be that you generally have to do some poleing or skating towards the end where it flattens out - not sure how a post op knee would cope. Depends on what you've had done I guess.

Thanks for the advice. Will be giving it a go on Sunday. Just hope there's loads of snow on the run.
Very Happy
