Bansko Learn to Snowboard Package

Hi guys, going to Bansko on the 5th of Jan. Taking my girlfriend with me and she has never boarded before. Been looking on the net for a package that includes board school, lift pass, and boot and board hire. Prices so far seem to be around £200 for 3 days of 2 hour lessons. Is it likely to be any cheaper to sort out when im out there? Or should i book before we go? If anyone has done this before and found good deals would they let me know what sites they used?

re: Bansko Learn to Snowboard Package

Hi, we paid £40 each for private lessons with the main ski school at the gondola, that was for a whole day snowboarding for 2 of us, so your price seems a bit steep as hire gear seemed cheap. Wink

re: Bansko Learn to Snowboard Package

i am booked in to snowboard school, as part of the airtours package.

i am sort of a beginner. but i have learned at milton keynes. i can go on the snow on my own.

what i am worried about is, does the snowboard school handle different abilities?

it seems very steep for 6 hours tuition. Even private tuition organised in the resort would be cheaper

re: Bansko Learn to Snowboard Package

Your ability will be graded on a short test as soon as you arrive at the slopes - then you will be placed with others in a class of equal ability.
