sorry if i have made loads of posts ahaa...does anyone know if there is night skiing for this upcoming season, if so when and how much is it, or how much was it last year?

No, there has not been any night skiing for a few years now, and it was only available on the ski road anyway... not exactly challenging...Don't understand this night skiing lark, if you have enough energy to do it, your obviously not doing enough in the day

Daytime for skiing, nighttime for drinking and making merry, well at bulgarian prices anyway. And as Steve rightly says the only piste that could be skied at night was the ski road which could become shall we say a little boring.Theres plenty of other things to do in the evening, try the ice skating or theres 10 pin bowling, bulgarian evenings etc.

we have just booked it up, and staying in the Hotel Strazhite... no idea what's near it, anyone know?

Not too far from the gondola. Very near to the ice rink. Good for old town and main winter tourist bars. They have a 10 pin bowling alley. Our friends have stopped there many times in the past and have been very happy with the hotel.

Dean, I've stayed at the Strazhite twice now, in 2010 and 2011, it's a great place, really central and second only to the Kempinski.There's a (sort of) review here http://bulgariaboarding.blogspot.com/2011/03/bansko-2010.html
