Can any one give me an idea of the best all round place (Cost and venue) to stay in bansko. ta

You may want to give us a little more to go on.

You could go for the Kempinski 5* at one end of the price range, through to renting a private studio flat at the other end.

Damon, you do not mention whether its summer or winter... but assuming its winter we know of accommodation from 15lv a night, traditional Bulgarian home, further price savings based on nights and numbers, right up to 5 star (not European standard no matter what people say) at 120E a night...
