I have seen on a facebook post to bansko asking why the top runs are not open, and they stated that there is only about half the snow needed to open them otherwise the snow groomers will pick up rocks underneath... but in reality i'm not sure, but to me it appears there was a considerable amount of snow - and regardless of how much snow they get, am i the only one who doubts they will open due to the chairlift being built without planning permission which means they have to pay to run it, so ...

What about the lift from Shillingarnika that goes to the top of 10 & 5 but the other one goes right to the top.That isn't the one which has been flagged up as without permissions instead it is the lift from top of 10 which goes up inbetween the two top blue runs.

Hi Dean..The top lift has already been running this season, so we can only assume that Ulen are either paying fines, or have managed to lodge an appeal. It is a fact that the top of the mountain has very little snow (that might be changing as i type) , the snow cannon network not extending to the very top of the mountain... The only lifts that go to the top of Todorka are the 2nd stage of the Tomba lift, and the new 4 man from the side of blue 10...
