One of the guys I'm going with is a veggie. Just wanted to se how easy it is to get decent veggie food in Bansko? To be honest if there's a half decent pizzeria that would keep him happy for months!
While I'm at it I might as well ask what the grub in general is like? Last time I went to Bulgaria (Borovets 99) the food was all of the 'traditional' type in the hotel (tepid and boiled) but I've heard Bansko is a bit better than this (we're staying at the Lion).
I think there is a pizza place in the kempenski hotel (the one at the bottom of the gondola station)-although never eaten in it myself so wouldn't know how good it is!!!
The restaurants all serve some veggie stuff (lots of feta cheese salad, breads, soups...), and I also had some stuffed cheese/spinach pie thing last year which was quite nice! And im sure the hotel/restaurants will russle up an omelete if requested!

hi ive never been but going on saturday to bansko and myself and kids vegie, i asked same sort of question 2 weeks ago and the answers i got v reassuring dont expect to starve
