Bansko Queues?

Is it right that all the skiing is at the top of the gondola so everyone will be in the queue in the morning??re: Bansko Queues?

Just returned from Bansko and yes the queues can be long for the Gondola in the morning. Gondola opens at 8.30 so get there as early as you can after 9.00 expect to queue for over 1/2 hr. It did get better as the week went on though.However Its worth it. Skiing was great up the mountain. Ignore the snow forecasts. It was sunny all week at the bottom of the mountan yet snowed quite a bit at the top.
Didn`t like Bansko - just one big building site. It had no charm unlike Pamps. But ...

if you are going at half term the queues will be longer be there EARLY or go lateHave a brilliant time - we went there last year

Hello Pete.Very true...there were 17 of us and we didn't all make it at 8.30am, some got to bed too late.

pp only the sensible ones who log on here will know on the first few days so all OK!3 sleeps to go and suffering with flu will def be better by Sat!

Was at Bansko last year and the queue's at Gondola were not to bad 20 mins max. Of to Breckenridge this year (10 days), was upset with lack of europe snow last year so far 300 inches in Breck Happy days!
