Bansko Snow

Am looking at prices for Bansko, and it is dirt cheap at the start of January (7th). Will the resort be open, and will there be enough snow to board/ski?!

We're def going to Bansko (I hope) - I love the place and am convincing Noodles. But I've only ever been in March before when the snow has been awesome and was worried it might not be so good this early in the season.

Toss up between 7th and 21st Jan at the moment...

Trouble, Myself and BoardBoy are an international crime fighting syndicate on a crack mission to drink Bansko dry, and try not to break anything whilst boarding. We hope to fight some crime over there (the lack of handsome boarding types for instance), but it'll definately take second place to fun on the snow. We are on holiday after all!

We were in Bansko from mid Jan last yearand had pretty ok snow cover - snowed like mad the week we left, so this year we arrive on 26th Jan...

shap, we went 1st week of Jan last season. Snow was ok, but needed some more. This year it would appear its loaded with the white stuff so book it. We will be going on the 21st for a fab week of skiing, not that boarding stuff yuck!!
