Bansko Tips

hey fellow skiers,

We are off to Bansko this year for the first time. this is our 3rd time skiing and some of us are still at beginner level. What can we expect from Bansko?

We are getting mixed info about what currency to take and if to get it changed up here or there?

What would you recommend?

I take the easy option and get a few Levs ( 5o quids worth), then just take money out of the ATMs as and when I need it when I get there. There are ATMs at Sofia airport if you need more straight away.
If you take pounds and change it out there make sure taht you do it in a hotel or bank. Dont use a dodgy guy in th estreet who is offerring a good rate. He will probably give you out of date currency that is worthless
