Hi all, I've asked this before but lost the piece of paper with the replies that I was given.
I'm taking the missus to Bansko in February and want to know where would be best to stay. We like to board and party so not too far from the town party zone. (If there is one) We stayed at Murgavets in Pamps last year and, apart from the food, it really was the dogs danglies. Also is it woth looking at apartments and eating out all the time?
Well we stayed at the Pirin last year and it was a really nice hotel about 10 min walk to the town centre and a good bus service to the slopes. Purely for location reasons I would plump for the Strazhite which is opposite the Lions Bar at the top end of the town. This is closer to the slopes. You could walk it if you wanted to. Also the Happy End bar opposite the gondola station is quite a buzzy bar and would be walkable likewise. Other posters here like the Perun which again is closer ...
Hi

Other posters here like the Perun which again is closer still to the slopes but a bit further to walk into the town.
It is very cheap to eat out in Bansko so even if you have half board at a hotel you can still do that and the hotels have very good facilities which apartments wouldn't have.
We are going to go to the Kempinski Grand Arena Which is the newest hotel in Bansko.
It is right by the Gondola Station (you can litterally ski to the door)
It is on the opposite corner to Happy End and 5 mins walk fromLions Bar(Sky Sports etc)
Aprox 10 -15 mins to the Square in Bansko.
There was a good town map on banskoski.co.uk but I havent looked at this site recently to see if is still there.
