Bansko advice

Hi off to Bansko next week just needed to know if
A, Need a photo for lift pass?
B, do most places accept euro? Or just Levs?
C, any suggestions for a decent board hire place?

c - sorry!! not sure on that one!!!!!!! U can drop buy a decent deck over there for a similar price to hire for a week.. maybe search on the forum list for board hire in bansko, see if the topic has been discussed before.

No you don't need a photo for a 6 day lift pass. Most places only want Lev. Either take good condition english notes ie with no writing on them and no rips to change out there or use the ATMs.

Sorry can't help with the board hire as I'm a skier.

Yes one at the gondola and 2 I think in the town. No problem using your card out there.

Yes there are places to change money - banks in the town centre . far cheaper than the hotel to change .
I just take a big wad of Levs out with me and go to the ATM if I run short . If you take sterling make sure it is as new English notes as they dont like ones with writing and old worn notes .
The exchange rate at the ATM is reasonable and its straightforward to get your cash .
Where are you staying ? I arrive Wed for 3 weeks

For hire, passes and tuition try method ski school, we e-mailed them via their website for private instructor, excellent service.
