Bansko dec08

Just booked my flights for 5 days boarding in Bansko, 14-19 december. Hoping there will be some snow, any whispers of when the resort will open?
Also looking for a reliable company to transfer us from Sofia airport, any recommendations?

Resort normally opens 2nd week into December so you should be ok, will pm you re. contact for transfer..

Good snow early last year but that was the first year in the five I've been here that there was skiable snow before Xmas, so take a good book.

Hi,

Thinking about going to Bansko in January. What should the conditions be like? Only been skiing once before, and heard Bansko is good for beginners/intermediate, any thoughts anyone?

Went to Pamps this year in March and there was virtually no snow! Plenty of ice though!!

Does anyone know much about the Banderitsa Hotel in Bansko, if so, please tell me what your opinions are.
